Chris – The beads are something I collect as I travel. The wooden ones come from Ladakh, India, the red ones are made of stone and bought from a lovely Rendille lady in northern Kenya. I have a thing for beads, so Jessie does too!

Dorothy – Was so great to meet you!

Jeffrey – We’ll have to do it again, brother. Way too much fun. But I’m only just getting dried out so i won’t be too soon back to the west coast!

Ya, Jessie is one well dressed lady. I like the “tom boy” side of her too. She’s not afraid of any mud or rain.

The beads on the rear view mirror are interesting. I wonder what the story behind those are.

I’m so glad you got to be part of this adventure, even for a few days. It’s a shame the weather was so dreary, but it sounds like you guys compensated for the moisture outside by taking plenty of liquids internally. Good thinking. I got to meet David at the tweet-up in San Francisco, and frankly a few hours in an Irish pub is more my speed than several soggy days camping. I’ll be following Jessie with great interest!

I feel honored to be on your list too, Jeff. Five of us were with you in Italy, and that was truly a magical experience. My personal favorite days were those spent in Venice.

I guess we owe in to the photographic community, that we felt that we were already old friends when we first met.

Hopefully we’ll get some more “physical meeting points” along the way.

So happy about your pet photography business and I could easily see how much you loved dogs then so when I discovered “Pet Photography” my first thought was: “Of Course! That’s it!”

Pets and kids are fun to shoot. However, my “vocation” takes me out of town a lot of the time during the spring, summer, and fall months. I assume that’s when pet photo’s are most demanded. Besides, who would hire a pet photographer who doesn’t own a dog? I have a cat but I assume it’s mostly dogs that get their photos done. I’m not ready for another dog right now.

Jeff, I couldn’t agree more. The kindness, closeness and generosity of those I’ve met in the world of photography are amazing. Even if I were to never create another photograph, I’d still wish to be a part of this community and would proudly call all of you friends.
